Our next Global Pursuit event is here and we’ll be looking into the idea of “HOPE” with a very special guest, Meseret Cohen.

Ethiopian by birth and now living in Perth, Meseret was orphaned at the age of 9 and adopted at 13. Now 25, Meseret recently had a SOLD OUT premiere screening of a short documentary titled ‘The Walk’, about her life and story after adoption. The Global Pursuit is excited to announce that we will be screening this documentary at our event, followed by a raw and honest interview-style discussion with Meseret and The Global Pursuit founder, Mwati Tembo, about what hope looks like in the midst of challenge.

Come along on the journey where we explore what hope means for every single one of us and how it has the power to shape our identity and make us more courageous and resilient as women. This event is a collaboration between The Global Pursuit and Life After Adoption. All profits from ticket sales will be donated to Kidane Mehret Children’s Home in Ethiopia, the orphanage Meseret grew up in.
